CROSSROADS BAPTIST CHURCH
Crossroads Baptist Church was founded by the Leadership of God in 1962. God has blessed this wonderful local assembly in so many ways that it would be impossible to describe all of His blessings. We are forever grateful for our past, rejoicing about our present, and looking forward to the future with great anticipation. It is our sole desire to please Him in all that we do and to be a great witness and a shining light for His honor and glory. We are a self-autonomous Independent Baptist Church that believes the 1611 KJV edition of the Word of God. We pray that He would lead us in all that we do. We are a friendly, outgoing, family of believers that enjoy the fellowship of the Saviour and saints. If you have the opportunity to visit us at Crossroads Baptist, it would be our honor to have you in our Services.
WHAT DO WE BELIEVE?
The Bible: We believe the Bible to be the verbally inspired, inherent, infallible, Word of God. It is the only complete and final revelation of God to man in this age, and is the standard and guide of conduct and action for the believer and the church.
The Blood: Without the shedding of blood is no remission (of sin). Hebrews 9:22 Even so the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. Matthew 20:28
The Blessed Hope: This SAME Jesus which is taken up from you into heaven shall so come in LIKE MANNER as ye have seen Him go into heaven. Acts 1:11 For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
The New Birth: Except a man be BORN AGAIN he cannot see the kingdom of God. John 3.3 As many as received Him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, ...which were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of GOD. John 1:12-13
Eternal Life For The Believer: And I GIVE unto them eternal life and they shall never perish... John 10:28 He that believeth on the Son HATH everlasting life. John 3:36
WHY SHOULD YOU ATTEND CROSSROADS?
- If you are saved:
- To worship God.
- To grow in strength and be better fit for service.
- To show others by the testimony of your support that you believe what we teach.
- Every believer ought to have a home church where they go for strength, comfort, and rest.Crossroads Baptist Church is a local, self autonomous, God fearing, Christ exalting, and Holy Ghost directed Church.
- If you are unsaved:
- That you might hear the Bible preached.
- That you might find your desperate need of Jesus Christ.
- That you might find your soul's salvation.
- That you might find purpose and direction for your life.
- That you may know Christ in the free pardon of sin and escape the depths of hell and have a home in Heaven.
